If you have a look at the article it was about buying stuff in time for Christmas but getting it at January sales prices using a credit card "Price Promise". But congratulations on your bargain.

My attempt to price match has been rejected by Barclays the company (Pixmania) I price matched a digital camera against is not registered in the UK but French, this classes my purchase as outside of the UK and the claim is not valid. The company have a shop in Fulham SW6 and goods can be collected from this location. The invoice was settled in £s Sterling the letter of rejection was processed 28/1/05 (still not recieved) this takes me outside the 60 days and now I cant submit a new claim. I could have chosen ant 1 of 5 companys offering the camera at a lower price on that day, I was unfortunate to pick the French one with a shop in Fulham If the price was in Euros it would have been obvious, then again if I had I picked a UK based company It may have been rejected as its is a Sony and Japanese.

Has anyone else been stitched up by Barclays Price Promise ?? with Barclays scrapping free extended warranty its time to cut it up your Barclaycard and bin it.
