You could check what coverage you have with orange http://search.orange.co.uk/ouk/portal/coveragechecker.html
Its only guaranteed at location where you live ... and outside of building (I think not sure).

Do you not have voicemail activated?
  • hi oneaday i do have voice mail activated is this affecting it in any way?? im in salford Manchester the signal looks good,, but are any net works better than others??

No I mean if you have voicemail, you should be getting people leaving messages if they are keen on your business services.

One thing you should do is leave a proper greeting for missed calls so people hear your voice and why you are not able to answer and that you will call back. Quick and snappy message.

You can try other network providers to see what level of coverage you have.

But I would be tempted to try a different make of mobile. Not a fan of Samsung myself but not had the problem you describe. Still worth trying a nokia or sony phone to see if things improve.

we are near leeds and have "good" coverage, well if he points the phone out the window or stands in the drive with it. he is on a pay monthly contract we complained and they credited a days tariff to his account. But its still no use when he cant use the phone which is a sony ericsson c510 and is only 6 months old. and i dont think voicemail will affect anything TBH, you could try leaving a message saying your having trouble with your phone and to try later or leave a message and you will return.

hope you get it sorted. loops
