i still have a video player (but its built into my tv and hasn't been used in years) i just dont see the point of getting a new tv thats all

Other posters are right, you literally cannot give them away now.

Imagine if you had a full set of, say, Beatles albums, but on cassette. They would have cost a fair whack as Beatles tapes were almost never discounted (I didn't have a CD player 'til my mid-teens so used to go tape-shopping a lot) but would be pretty hard to shift now.

I have two that are still used as well as HD recorders.:D
