There were 9 DOUBLE tapes of the complete Upstairs Downstairs. Now do you see my point ?
Thanks for the postage tip though ;-) I am sure the buyer wont mind.0 -
£40 brand new on dvd from Amazon.
VHS is a awkward medium- it degrades, it's harder to store, I agree you were quite lucky. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

Sometimes I watch as the price is too high, and I wonder if it sells.
Good luck to you with this one, but the entire set of episides on dvd is only just over twice your price at just under £40, and each series is just over a tenner, delivered new from Amazon.0 -
What's VHS?

I think you did very well. I bought the complete set of Inspector Morse videos (all 33 of them!) in a charity shop a couple of weeks ago for £5. So although I agree with you about the postage you still did well by in effect getting £10.99 for yours.Oh dear, here we go again.0

I do the same. I also watch items I'm looking for from a seller especially if they have lots of the same items so I can gauge (sp?) what price to bid.

I understand exactly what the OP is saying. I know that we shouldn't count our watchers til they bid but when you have loads of watchers you do tend to think, that you will get quite a few bids. I wish I could stop checking how many watchers I have & then I wouldn't be disapointed. Funnily enough I'd just counted my watchers before I came on here, do you think I should get a life?0

Unless it's a rare case where the film/tv show hasn't been released on DVD, than I've found VHSs to be virtually worthless. Even the local charity shops don't want them anymore as they have piles of tapes, even at 5p they can't shift them.0
