Old & New ISA

Options
Hi,

I've managed to save around £2500 in my current Barclays ISA, opened in around October.

When April comes, do I have to stay with Barclays, or can I transfer all of this money without using my ISA limit up?

If I can, what bank is offering the best interest rate? I don't mind locking the money away for a year or two either.

Thanks,
Ryan

I believe the Barclays ISA is instant access, so there is nothing stopping you from transfering to another ISA with a better rate. Transfers do NOT count towards the allowance as they have already been invested, but bear in mind that some providers DON'T accept transfers in!

For the best rates, have a look at Kazza's "Mini Cash ISA best currently available" topic, then you can find one to suit your needs. :j http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=401374
