Hi there
Does anyone know if the USB cable that comes with the Motorola V3 is one that you can use to unlock the fone or is it a different type of USB cable that you need to purchase seperately???

I know the cable can debrand and flash the phone. Not sure if it can unlock though.0

Can you tell me what "flash the phone" means???
I have been trying to unlock mt Motorola V220 phone and I have been having no luck so maybe I havent done it properly!!!0 -
Flash, is to replace the software on the phone i.e. to erase and copy new software.
It is possible to unlock and flash a V3 with the cable that comes with the phone, not sure if it works with the later models V3I & V3X.
If you're not sure what you're doing then I'd pay the guy at your local market. Here is the instructions, some of the software is difficult to locate to download.
