You would get good sales in run up to Christmas.
Have you got any link for this? I couldn't find anything. Is it a Christmas Card business or something?Only when the last tree has died

How is your cooking or cake decorating - can you make good kids birthday cakes? They sell for quite a bit in the shops, I use 27p flour to make all my stuff and it works just as well?
Advertise as a dog walker? the kids could accompany you?
A cleaner I knew used to take her kids when she went, the people knew and they were well behaved, if it was good weather they would sit outside reading/playing or something. If not they'd watch tv for an hour.
Have you got any qualifications for anything?
Ironing lady? this would be brought to you and you'd be at home with the children.
Delivering free newspapers and leaflets, hard work but something else the children could help with.
Do you grow fruit/veg/plants, lots of people have little stalls outside with extra produce on and sell it. If you have any bicycles/mowers etc to sell, can they be sold outside - or have a yard sale?
Even if you don't reduce the time any more you have done a fantastic job and I think you are being a great Mum to your little ones.0 -
Babysitting - this could be done when Mr Fox would be at home with the children?0

Have you considered home based jobs such as being a virtual assistant or copywritting? Or working as a researcher for AQA? I'm not sure how much you could make, but at least its home based.DFW Nerd No. 140

If your children are both at school, could you not get a few hours work there?
You could be a dinner lady, or help out at the after school club.
It may not bring in £350 per month, but it would help.Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I'd like to add to halloweenqueen's post that I think you're being a great Mum, too.
If you could bear extra ironing, perhaps you could find out where your local arthritis support group meets. On bad days my wrists stop me ironing, and I'm sure you'd find grateful clients.
Good luck!0 -

Have you thought about play working? It's a really deacent rate, you can involve the kids and it fits around school times. I used to be a playworker and worked with two incredible collegues, 1 a single mum and the other had two kids (which she brought along) and her husband worked shifts. I found that the kids had the chance to socialise, spend quality time with their mum and from my perspective the activities that they brought in were already tried and tested.
Personally, I was a bit naff in comparison!Debt £5600 all 0%0
