MSE Lingo!!!!

I have been on MSE for a short while now and it is getting on my nerves not knowing what the abbreviations mean:

DD?
DS?
SOA?
MIL? - Mother in law.
DSW?- Debt saving wannabe????
OH? - Other half (I think)
OPP? Eh?

Etc etc etc

Please post translations for any and all abreviations so that my tiny brain can make sense of sentances. Particular offenders are debt-free and banking boards! There are so many abbreviations there I think they are a different language altogether. In fact I hear there is a school to learn Klingon, perhapse an MSE one could be started?
Wildly my mind beats against you, yet the soul obeys. :heartpuls
