I'm loving some of the replies on here! We play board games, computers, watch over fav tv programs, cook together, massage - it has taken 10 years me to to calm my tickle nerves enough for my other half to massage my feet! have baths/showers together, we recently went through all the photo albums and had a good laugh at our childrenSlimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0

We read together, listen to music together (we have dozens of CDs), discuss the books and music together, watch DVDs together, talk together, have discussions, put the world to rights......
Sometimes he will paint and I will read in the same room, or I will go on the computer and he will read in the same room.
We have also just finished watching the entire series of Poirot that I had for my 60th birthday, also we have Forsyte Saga, Father Ted, Red Dwarf, Coen Brothers Collection and loads and loads of other DVDs, some of which we will watch over again.
We are together virtually 24/7 . especially when we are in Spain and although we do do separate things (atm I'm on the computer and he is sunbathing), our evenings are always spent together.
Still enjoy each other's company after nearly 39 years of marriage.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Its maybe not particularly MSE but if you are wine drinkers, you could join a wine club, and maybe get some home study stuff as to how to taste the "passion fruit smothered in cream with a hint of juniper and almonds" flavours in the glass?
Along the teach yourselves line you could also do whiskey or cocktails. I'm sure theres some non alcoholic stuff too...!
Be childish... treasure hunts with clues left around the house, favours notes etc.
Oh, again not MSE but hotel chocolat do an AMAZING fondue set! You could do it cheaper, white milk dark chocolate and strawberries, shortbread, marshmallows etc to dip in. Mmmmm!Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -

We sometimes read to each other.
We have been known to play geeky game books/dungeons and dragons together.(I love it actually. It's really funny.)
I'm learning to draw. Sometimes DH sits with me and we do it together.
You could do an exercise vid together, or a DVD that teaches you how to salsa or do yoga.
You could learn a language together.
Play chess.
Learn how to play an instrument together.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
karaoke with cheesy love songs?

Do a jigsaw
Scalextric racing
Build something out of lego
Make a house of cards
Get a load of dominos and make a line of them that you knock down, with patterns and all that stuff
Build a webiste
Play snap
Do some body art on each other with washable pens

We tend to buy box set dvds and then when we have watched them, flog em on ebay
We have worked our way through all of the West Wing and Alias, Lost 1-3, Spooks 1-7 and are currently watching series 2 of Heroes. All very good.
We also have a Wii which is good fun. There is always jigsaws or scrabble which we have had phases of. I used to play monopoly all the time with an ex of mine but husband and I could never agree what rules to play lol!'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain'0 -
