Talk Talk Pro Phone and Broadband package - good service?

Hi,

Anyone here with Talk Talk? I would appreciate some advise and reviews about their level of service.

I am interested in their Talk Talk Pro Phone and Broadband package, which gives you unlimited anytime landline calls, 24MB internet with unlimited download usage all for around £29.00.

The package appears to be a good all rounder but what is the service actually like?

    One word - terrible.

My advice - do not touch with a bargepole.

TalkTalk do have quite a lot of bad reviews online - but they also have quite a lot of customers.

There are more and more good reviews starting to come up now.

This doesn't have any user reviews on it, but it has some blurb on the TalkTalk Pro package which may be interesting to read http://www.chooseisp.co.uk/broadband-.../talktalk-pro.asp
  • have only experienced bad customer service from TT. They are very quick to take your money and sign you up but the after service is terrible. read through some of the other TT topics on here too, there is even one from a TT worker who recommends that people give them a wide berth.

You pay cheap you tend to get inferior service and or poor CS

Be prepared for lots of marketing calls too. Your requests to get them stopped is largely ignored

My experience with TT has been better than many it seems - as a package of inclusive anytime calls (inc international calls free, excellent with family in France), line rental & broadband I've had no real problems. I pay around £21 per month all in and think it's good value.

Over the last few weeks I have noticed some broadband drop out at peak times however, need to keep an eye on that one as if that becomes a regular occurence I won't be as happy.

I'm with BT, where I've experienced awful problems and very bad customer service. Yesterday I was trying to do some banking online, but given the problems with my connection, I had to ring the bank. The guy went through the steps with me and I mentioned that I was having bad BT problems hence the need for the call.

He said he was also having bad internet problems, but with Talk Talk. He said their customer service was also appalling.
