That's only any good if the host PC has Truecrypt installed on it and you have admin rights on the host PC. You can't install Truecrypt on a USB stick.
A much better option is FreeOTFE (http://www.FreeOTFE/) or FreeOTFE Explorer - unlike Truecrypt and others, FreeOTFE doesn't need administrator rights to use!0 -
Just get a hardware encrypted USB stick with password access - no software is required to be installed, e.g.

you dont need software to password protect usb drives, just use windows memory management0
