Buying a mobile from Gumtree?

Hey has anyone ever bought a mobile phone from Gumtree? I've seen some excellent offers however I'm quite catious about buying a phone from there, anyone got any safety tips or questions to ask the seller?

    Go to their house, insist on seeing photo id, make sure that they give you a full reciept quoting the IMEI number,ask to see original delivery note/bill of sale etc... simples!! I have done it loads! got some very very cheap phones on there and sold them for a fortune on shebay

    Thanks Outlaw, not saying im right, its just the way I do it! bought an iPhone 3G from a guy a couple of weeks ago for £160, sold it for £240!!
