    Outgoings Monthly

    Travel - £52.00 - Sometimes I can get a £10 return ticket

Days out with kids in holidays - £40.00

    Total Outgoings - £359.24
Do you shop in Tescos? Could you change your points to deals to pay for days out with the children. Do you take your kids with you when you visit your bf, would it be worth getting a family railcard?
  • Just to say my brother cancelled his sky and he still gets free channels with the old card so he's well chuffed. That would most certainly save you money to go towards wedding.

Good luck Black-Saturn, you're an inspiration to us all for getting out of debt and not wasting money

I agree with beanielou - superhuman self control!!

And it seems you work, look after your children, do a correspondence course and still have time to offer advice to DFWs on here!!

    Good luck

I do shop in Tescos but when you only spend about £45 every 5 weeks in there the points don't add up too quickly.

I have got a family railcard now. I don't take the kids with me every time I go but when I do I use the railcard. I use it on days out too.

    .
What about your OH does he also shop/fill up there, could you have a joint clubcard and would he let you use the points.

Council tax, have you looked to see if youa re entitled to any benefit for this due to low income?

    Hi Black - Saturn

Ask wanadoo about livebox Wireless & Talk, for your £17.99 a month you should have a livebox wireless connection, if you plug a phone into your live box you get free calls evenings & weekends to any 01 or 02 numbers in the UK and no having to redial after 1 hour :)
Theres a package you can add on at £6 a month and you get free daytime calls as well

You can put your BT phone rental just down to basics ( 9.99 a month )

    Hope that helps :)

My boyfriend works in Tesco!!! I'll get him to ask about the joint Clubcard.

I've worked out that if we want a wedding at the cost of £3,000 in 2 years time we both have to save at least £70 each per month every month until then. Do you think that will be difficult?

  • How do you only spend £45 on food in 5 weeks with kids?
Wildly my mind beats against you, yet the soul obeys. :heartpuls
