Your decluttering is truly epic, greent! :T

And you're so staggeringly close to being MF! You must be beside yourself with excitement :D:D

Just did a long post and the site told me I had timed out and I lost it all, thats the third time this week grr.

Not sure if you remember me from before (under a different name) I have been doing this since 2009.

You are so close now and like you I have next yrs MF months already set out for a new boiler, kitchen and bathroom as well as decorating. The boiler needs to come out of my sons v small box room. So thats what my first year saving will go on.

I am also decluttering, I am amazed and shocked at the amount of !!!! I have accumilated. I guess it is there so long we dont seem to see it anymore. My bedroom seems to be able to breathe again.
Slow and steady tho wins the race, so much more stuff to sift through! :(

Can't believe we're almost there! Was going to repay fully this month but think I'll leave it until next month now, just to be on the safe side.

Have had quotes in for the new boiler and windows/ doors and found someone for the kitchen, but haven't had a quote from them yet.

Very tired at the mo from invigilating and still doing vol work (we have a big fundraiser coming up) and helping to organise a local festival and the usual family stuff. Add to that poor sleep from stupid hormones meaning I'm either freezing or boiling in bed and I'm hanging come 9pm!!

Day off from invigilation today (you'd be surprised *just* how tiring watching students can be lol!!) so have cleaned some of house and baked 2 loaves, 24 rolls and 21 iced buns :D (Oh - and ironed, done washing, put loads of clean washing and ironing away and tried sorting out some tax query stuff out - so much for a day off! ;):D)

DD finished her exams last week, so I have my lovely daughter back again! Not that she was particularly horrid, but she is clearly so much more relaxed now! Not looking forward to next Summer when she's sitting her A2s and dS1 is sitting his GCSEs........

Took part in a Rainbow Run last month for the hospice which cared for my friend's daughter: http://www.oxfordshireguardian.co.uk/rainbow-of-colours-for-charity-runners/ We had a huge team of over 40 of us. Was good fun and we raised lots of money :T We're already planning what to do for next year's event!! :D

Still not spending much on random 'stuff' Recent purchases have included new patrol boots for DS1 for army cadets, £2 on some reduced bedding plants for the garden and some very pretty solar lamp jars for the garden. Garden is looking lovely, so just need more of the recent weather to make the most of it! :D Also acquired some of the freebie Kelloggs personalised spoons, though - but these definitely spark much joy with the family members who have them!! :D:D

Definitely more stuff is going out than coming in, but I'm not sure I can really tell looking around!!!:rotfl: Am even making an effort to eat up stores, due to kitchen being done at some point - less stuff to move out and store elsewhere! :) Toiletries are also being attacked and used up - as is the (quite large) supply of cleaning products in the garage. (Also found about 30 bottles of wine, several bottles of whisky, even more of vodka and about 60 bottles of beer/ lager in the garage - didn't realise it was that much as it was scattered around - looks obscene now it's all together!!!:o:o)
