Glad you had a good break in London 🙂MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁7

Thanks both!
I have booked my MOT and service, booked an appt for school shoes and one for uniform shopping. Have messaged for eyebrow appt and another podiatrist (no answer on phone and I'm fed up of leaving messages) Bread is cooked and cooling on a rack and 2nd load of washing is out on the line
Have added more to my list, though - sort RAC for my car (using Tesc0 CC vouchers), phone local pub to see if DS1 can get a temp job (I know the mgr and apparently they are desperate for staff), message a bathroom person, order new sch joggers for DS2, do a return to Tesc0 and figure out how to do a return to Dune1m (no paperwork in my order!!) That'll do for now!I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £209 -
Good grief
you only got back from holiday yesterday, and you've done **loads**! Respect! And envy, actually
Seriously, well done you.

Thanks Kc - it'll probably go downhill from hereon in and not much else will get achieved the rest of the week
- I find that's what often happens!
Have now organised my RAC cover for free with Tesc0 vouchers - whoop - I don't normally use a premium supplier, but using the Tesco vouchers makes it cheaper than a cheap one! Also spoken to the local pub - getting back to me/ DS1 tomorrow, hopefully. And I've discovered a walk in clinic for 2nd jabs locally on Weds for DS2's age group - which is good, as he had his 1st in Wales as that's where he is registered due to uni and the clinic when he had it said to try a walk in if offered locally over the holsAnd I did a quick shop at Icyland (mainly toilet rolls and Gr3ggs sausage rolls....!!) and then collected DD from work as I was close - and she had an evening appt to give blood. Finally I took DS3 to his swimming lesson. Time for ONly COnnect!

omg, Greggs - I was in heaven when I found out they were doing veggie rolls, but there are few and far shops that sell them. They use the same sort of pastry as the proper sausage rolls though, and I **love** that!

ooh - there are lots if you look on comparison sites or on T0pcashback. I was with rescuemycar before and they were fine. There's also Autoaid - I think that might be the one which Martin recommends?? - and lots of others - well worth shopping around but using my CC vouchers for it seems like a good idea, as there's little to spend them on right now (and I had 2 years' worth of vouchers - so still have rather a lot left, even after getting upgraded cover....) xI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £207 -

But ... omg! Icyland do them? Thats it - I don't shop in person any more, between carrying the bags and covid, but they do deliveries - just checked the rolls are available online, and they are! You're my hero2023: the year I get to buy a car7 -
Greegs are Mt main reason for icyland shopping trips - good staples in this house for a quick weekend snack item! - not so good on a health basis, but all things in moderation, eh
£25 win on PB for me this month - not as good as Cheery but am happy I'm averaging £25/ mth - it's much better than I'm getting in bank interest on a similar amount saved!
Sunny day here so will get another load of laundry out on the line- and finish ironing yesterday's. Will also 'persuade DS1 to mow the back lawn today
and DS2 that we can crack on with sorting more of his room! And also see about switching our gas and electricity- I dislike Sh3ll energy who we are currently with. Prices appear to have gone crazy, though....
