But blimey yes, minus one child, even though much loved, and things get quieter :rotfl: even when they're grownups :rotfl: visiting my sister when her daughter is there is one thing. Visiting when her son is there as well is a completely different experience :rotfl:

Very quick post

Have date for kitchen fit (late Jan) and have paid deposit

It's half term here and am off to bed - we're up again at 3am to go to the airport - suitcases are already in car, just phones/ tablets/ chargers to pack in hand luggage and then we're good to go!

Quick check in from Portugal - lazy day today in villa

My sis has had her baby whilst we've been out here :j: - was due 11th Nov but due to several complications she had him 2 days ago by c-section. He weighs a very healthy 9lb 7!!! :eek: Will go and see them when we are back

Very relaxing week out here with very low spends (not intentionally). We fly back Sat lunchtime and should be home by teatime, all being well. It looks chilly at home - I can see the heating going on when we get back!!

Tenant had an issue with drains just before we came out - I didn't feel it was fair that I picked up the whole bill so contacted the management co for the street - result is it's being shared between the 4 properties who directly use that drain - Great news as far as I'm concerned!

Wow - two and a half weeks early and 9lb 7! My dd was 7lb 1- at 15 days late! Congrats to your sister x

The clocks go back Sat night, so you'll all get an extra hour to get used to the damp and chilliness...
