Eek! I've not been on here in aaaaaages!

    Mortgage balance as at year end = £52546.77 (31/12/11 = 76316.68)

Have OP'd this month from regular OP, cashback, council tax and a dividend payment - total OP 2075.23 - bringing our balance down to less than £50k - woo hoo!!!:j:j:j:j:j

We are now on target with regular OPs to repay our mortgage 01/12/15 (assuming that's a working day!) - so may even bring this forward a tiny amount with any extra OPs :)

Other than that, Mr gt has STILL not claimed his expenses :(:(:( but he PROMISES it will all be done (12 months worth!) by next week..... Hmmmm.... forgive me if I'm doubtful! :rotfl:

We have booked a centreparcs break for Feb half term - ridiculously short term this time around - they went back on 7th Jan and break up for a week 8th Feb! Am guessing summer term will be a very looooooong one...

We seem to be spending an awful lot right now - so I must get a grip on it and rein it back in for Feb

    Hello Cath! :)

Can't believe I haven't logged into MSE since the start of February!!!

Mortgage has been reducing at a usual rate - balance at this month end will be £41175 (well, it will be less than that as I have an OP in my mortgage pig of about £80 to sort out) Haven't really been making any extra OPs other than the one built into the DD. MSE has really fallen by the wayside of late :(

DH is currently out of work - claiming JSA of just over £70 a week - and that will be taxable. That's all we're entitled to as a family of 6!! Good job we have savings lol :)

Money saving/ mtge OPS are back in my mind again now - so I plan on being around a lot more :)

Will try and catch up on diaries as I come across them :)
