O2 warning.

Just wanted to warn people that if they purchase a phone and contract via the O2 website your service charge will begin the second you confirm your purchase. I signed up and bought a phone with them on the 27th of this month. Received an email bill charging me from the 27th for the months line rental. Didn't receive the phone until today.
They say that it is in their terms and conditions. Be warned don't buy one as an advance present because you will pay from day one. I thought normally contract charges began when you activated the phone. Silly me.

I noticed this when I signed up, and complained about it, and got it re-instated. It was only 90p or something, but it was the principle!0
