Well after a wrangle with orange i will be breaking free in next 2 weeks!!!
so now i am looking for a new smart phone. can anyone reccomend one and a good deal?
only criteria i am looking for are
-a good bit internet use ( unlimited if poss)
-200 to 300 mins calls
- 500 texts
ideally looking for 25 quid a month or so and not really a fan of blackberrys.

Hi, Got an HTC HD2 from Virgin a few weeks ago, does everything! Really enjoying having it, it's my first smartphone and its taking a bit of getting used too, I'm sure I'm not using it to it's full potential. It's on the large side but has an amazing screen, better than the iphone, and seems to do everything I need..
The contract I got was 500 minutes, unlimited texts and internet for £25 on an 18month deal, I did have to pay around £80 for the handset though (it's showing at 99.99 online just now but I went instore and it was £10 cheaper than the online price at the time). I also got two months free as I was an existing Virgin media customer, so I reckoned it was a pretty good deal, especially as the contract is only 18 months not the 2 years that seems to be de rigeur these days. Hope you find something suitable, there seems to be a few new phones out in the last few weeks, and more in the pipeline, so you should be spoilt for choice!0 -
Here's the contract deals on the HTC desire with T-mobile. I've gone for the 24 month deal at £15 a month with 300 texts, 300 minutes and unlimited internet (which is 3GB for an Android phone!) On top of that, you can get a free booster for either unlimited texts or unlimited landline calls. The phone on this plan costs £129 but if you order over the phone, you can get up to £30 off that just by asking, I got £20 off on Monday when I rang. Have a look at all their plans though.0

For £30/month you can get a free reconditioned iPhone 3G with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and Internet.0

Possibly, I have no idea if they are in stock or not, but there is nothing obvious on the o2 website to say they are out of stock0 -
