    The DTI and the TiD are both same 2 litre engines...not 2.2....the 2.2 is the petrol saab engine.

    the 2.2 can be had as petrol or diesel.

    Both the 2.0 and 2.2 diesel ones are crap...

    Not in my 2.2 Saab Diesel is wasn't.

    The 2.2TiD was the forerunner to the 1.9TiD

    Vectra: Came as 2.0DTi or 2.2DTi
    Saab: Came as 2.2TiD.

    They were all crap and the newer, smoother 1.9 is equally rubbish...

    so i take it not many would recomend them
    cant afford to change my car yet unless i take a loan
    but not prepared to do that
