Hi everyone - this is a great thread - I achieved all my little list yesterday.

    Todays list is :

    I have:
    1. Checked bank and updated spreadsheet
    2. Hoovered
    3. Washed floors
    4. Put some veggies into freezer to save them being chucked. They''ll be fine for stews etc
    5. Organised freezer a bit.
    6. Made appt for doc for next week
    7. Washed floor mats which were a bloomin disgrace!
    8. Tidied up
    I will:

    Have a NSD
Finish another square for my "Knit your square" project. (Im learning to knit)
Dinner is an easy one using up samosas, pakoras and mini kebabs from freezer which were bought a Xmas and not used - will have with SP pitta and salad.
Meet my pal this afternoon and go a long walk with dogs to catch up with the goss!;)

    Thanks for all the inspiration!:T

    Morning All
Nice cheery smilies, wise words Escosesa, I'm with you :), these little things are STILL keeping me on track

    So today:
    • I've listed DD's old textbooks on Amazon - though quite a few were only at 1p!!!
    • Into work at 10 am (Even though I left on 31st December, they keep calling me back to help out :o)
    • A NSD yesterday, (apart form budgeted petrol) and with leftover Risotto for lunch I may do it again today :D
    • I'm waiting for the milkman rather than opening a long-life litre - I'm on a diet and must stick to skimmed :o but it means it stays in the cupboard.
    • Will visit aged p's tomorrow and will commit to driving at an economic speed :o
    • will curl up with knitting and TV tonight (I'm making Christmas presents this year :D)
    • And Skype Popeye - it's free :money:
I'm still trying to work up the enthusiasm to list on ebay again, but I have sorted some stuff to do......

Have a great day everyone :A

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

  • Happy Friday everyone!

I feel today is going to be non-productive. I started off okay, but now I've sat down with a cup of coffee and MSE so that'll be the end of it!

    So far I have:
    • run dishwasher overnight on Economy 7
    • made bread the same (heard it kneading at 4.30 am!!)
    • rang electricity company and found out our "Economy 7" is actually "Economy 8" as it runs from 23.30 to 07.30 without a break :D
    • been to physiotherapy at hospital and didn't go into restaurant for elevenses
    • used staff pass for parking at hospital
    I had also intended to:
    • phone training centre to see if I passed my exams
    • phone poultry farm as one of my new girls seems off colour - hope it's just the change of food, environment etc :(
    • finish one corset and start another otherwise I'll never get this business up and running
    And I definately will:
    • go out with ex-collegues tonight for yet another leaving do - so many redundancies! It won't be very DFW as we're meeting at 4.30 so I think there will be a meal involved. :o

here is one of mine which is a work in progress at the moment whilst I upload other figures http://www.editgrid.com/user/angelflower/Debt_Buster_Records_2010

Its basically a online spreadsheet system which I think will be easier for me as laptop keeps crashing so now I can access from anywhere to update - idea stolen from fay ;)

Received my veg box and bits from the local farm - going to create a meal plan tonight!

Work on signs for my car boot to attract more buyers in :)

Call council and raise hell. Had 2 bills for this coming year one for £118 a month and 1 for £130  that is a MAD difference! And request an extra recycling bin

Thats about it for now, might add more later x

Biggest thing today to add is it is payday!! :D

Well yesterday was payday but i get paid a cheque to cash and i don't work fridays so i get mine today when i work!

On my list i planned to charge my phone at work - difficult when you forget the charger!!!! GGGRRR

Oh and good news is my pay is being put back to it's pre-dropped amount! Only dropped £50 a month but that is still a great extra bit to have!! Pays for my childrens clubs! (well almost!) Though if DF's wage drops by £200 like it is rumoured with dropping to a 4 day week then we are not doing too good!

Have to update my grocery challenge with the couple of bits DF bought last night but it didn't go over what we had left so i am really pleased with that! This was our first challenge and only guessed we spent about £260 so challenged ourselves o £240. Managed to keep within that! Can't drop it for April though as a 5 week month!!
