Hey BB, my thought generally is why not what have you got to lose, by the sounds of it you have some good experience, you at least know some of the poo you would have to deal with since you have worked for them before

and i suppose you might be able to live on 42k a year...it might be a struggle but i am sure you could manage :D
    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

I guess I was to blame kind of but I can't see how it was any of her business?

Not really Luc, I don't think you did anything wrong BUT you're right in that it's none of her business!

    considering applying for a job...............it's only 42k though.............whadda ya think..............:rotfl:

seriously though, it's the same level as a post I had 10 years ago (before I was made redundant the first time!) and would mean moving back into PR/communications which I said I would never do after my Cruella era experiences in my last job.........but.........it would also be full circle as it's not only with the same council I'm currently with, but back into the department where I started my PR/media career in 1993! Back then there was me and my boss and we started the department. There are now 11 staff - 10 of which this post manages!!

Not sure I want that level of hassle any more............but for 2.5k clear a month.........it would soften the blow!!!

Go for it BB, just because you had a bad time with Cruella does not mean it'll happen again!
Don't let that witch win and prevent you going for opportunities and jobs that you know deep down you are more than capable of doing!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.

I'm very tired....just finished my one week Prince 2 course which has been like being machine gunned with facts for 4 days finished off with an exam. THE most bizarre exam I have ever done the questions were two statements with a link between. You had to decide whether a. was right b. was right c. whether a caused b. Basically 3 chances to lose 1 mark - how fair is that?

Trying to delay going into work so I can collect the bits I need to finish without them throwing any more work at me.

Then I'm going to watch a DVD, have a drink and sleep!

I got a response. More of the same really. I just replied that we could talk in circles forever, she clearly had made up her mind and I would see her on Tuesday. I will talk to Michelle but I know she is struggling a lot at the moment and don't want her to feel bad. I'll just give her the card with the cash in it and apologise firstly that its taken so long to get it too her and secondly for cutting her evening short when she probably wanted to stay out (even though I don't think that's the case). I just know she must have discussed it with at least one other person from the group and obviously have not been given a chance to set the record straight. I'll get this job and leave them for dust;)
