That reminds me of a few computer games. I remember the old times when I played a game, called Knight Online. It has since been completely taken over by Turk and Chinese hackers, so now it defies the point of "grinding". The days of me playing 8-10hrs every day are gone when they can get the highest lvl and items in a couple of nights

Even thought when I was obsessed with playing because I enjoyed it, it never ruled my life to the point where I'd cry like a !!!!! if I got banned, I'd just go out and enjoy myself again
I'm playing Eve Online now, it's a long !!! and weird game but I like it because it has active GM's who do their jobs and it's not Free 2 Play which means less hackersOwner of andrewhope.co.uk, hate cars and love them

I think the COD player was funny
I'm gonna punch this wall, I'm gonna punch this wall. Oh the pain, fall, oh the pain, fall.
I seriously worry about people like those who take things that serious, they're losing all sense of reality.

I've never been big with online games, but I remember being hooked on The Sims, NWN, most of the old Black Isle games, etc, years ago. It does happen, but for me, never to that extent.
Those guys have lost the plot.0 -
As was said before by me (lies with quoting)

I would have too........:D
These games are supposed to be somewhere you can go and actually make a difference, somewhere where if you put hard work in, you get the rewards you deserve. It's not possible for most people to get to such a high status in real life.
Then some little !!!! wadd to comes along and steals something you have slaved over, probably for days, weeks or even months, is enough to drive anybody to murder.......
I experienced something similar in Runescape, where by somebody had scammed my out of a very, very large amount of GP, I was furious. If the guy had have been infront of me there and then, I could have quite easily ripped his head clean from his shoulders. Fortunately the game rules have changed now to stem this sort of activity.....
The moral of the story is. If you don't have any morals, and are playing these games with the sole intent of ripping other people off, be prepared to have a 15" chopping knife lunged into your still beating heart.....
The vast majority of us are hard working individuals, who would quite happily lunge a 15" chopping knife, into the still beating heart of a scammer and theif.....
BTW I am a high lvl RS player, I have several skill capes and a total lvl of 1922.
If anybody is interested that is....:cool:To travel at the speed of light, one must first become light.....0 -
try looking on youtube for "FPSDoug" which is staged but still funny (alot of the movies by this group were quite good.
Also "Leroy Jenkins" (bit of swearing in both of these)Don't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0
