Hmm, what about planning to put £5 a week aside for it, if you manage it then gp up in £1's till you hit £10, that way when you can do it you will feel like you have achieved something. I know that if I said I would do £10 then couldn't I would feel really annoyed and might just give up....but that could just be me :)

Good idea! I've just set up payment for 'one off pay to Lloyds' on online banking, went to transfer and need my little card autho machine that nationwide give you and can't find it so no first OP yet but there will be by the end of the day

I hope you get out on your bike ride today Choc! I am hoping to pop out on my bike later!

Had a naughty food day yesterday and came hw feeling pretty bad about it. So done 30 mins on cross trainer - going a bit faster than normal! And i hope to get in a bike ride, boxing on My fitness coach and a walk around the village! HOPEFULLY. Then i'll feel i have evened up a little!

Did you manage the bike ride? We opted for a nice long hill walk instead as have lots to be climbing next week!!

    Morning lovelies :)

Hope everyone is well and enjoyed the BH weekend. Back to reality today :(

Being the 1st of the month i've decided to up the focus on money as been getting side tracked of late :o I am making my first overpayment to Lloyds today - was only 58p but it all counts! Can't do it though as lost my thingy which nationwide give you to authorise one off payments - kinda a fraud thing but know it's somewhere around so will find it later and make sure payment is made by the end of the day :j

Dull day of work today and off to office in London this afternoon for a meeting - I hate travelling up there for work, takes 2-3 hrs pending on trains, tubes and buses....although think it may be shorter today as OH giving me lift to station whereas I normally walk which is 20mins :D Lazy I know but knocks down the travel time! Won't get home until about 9ish tonight :(:(:( Ah well, on holiday for 10 days as off Friday so have that break to look forward too :j:j:j

    To-do-list for today....
    • Check online banking
    • Daily free scratch card
    • Make overpayment to Lloyds
    • Eat sensibly
Short list as in London but still will aim to complete, not that harder one today :)

Have a good day all, will try to pop on your diaries later for a catch up xx

Woo hoo! Found the thingymebob to authorise transaction online and just made my first overpayment to Lloyds CC - only 58p but it's a start :T

I need to sit down properly and work out if I can pay some more but this morning balances had £xxx.58 left in account so thought it won't hurt to transfer the 58p to CC as overpayment, kinda a nice way of doing it at the moment until back from hols and know where I am money wise.

I love the 58p OP, I have never registered my card reader - need to go to the bank and sort it out as I can't make any one off payments through the net and apparently I can't use telephone banking either because of it

I am glad you had a great day yesterday and I hope today goes nice and quickly for you :D

Morning Choc! Booo to the long day going up to London!

:T:T:T to your overpayment. It all helps. OH has one of those thingymebobs for natwest too. I like that Lloyds text me if i've made a payment to be sure it was definitely me. They do an automated phone call to confirm a new payment

Glad you had a great day yesterday. Woohoo to the holiday next week. I need to finalise our camping trip next weekend. I managed to get out for an hour bike ride last night. Cycled down some quiet roads, saw a lot of wild rabbits hopping about and ended up by the sea. Sat on a huge rock for ten mins and then cycled back. Don't fancy it today though as it is pouring with rain!!!!

    Morning Choc,

Sorry to hear about the eye, I have never had a sty before but I know they can be very sore :(

You must be getting excited about your trip now :j. These few days are going to fly past although I am thinking you might need another holiday when you get back to recover from all that walking/climbing and kayaking! :D
