new w810i and it doesnt work
Options
ordered a "clearance" SE w810i from e2save. Arrived next day but everytime i put the sim in it said "insert correct sim card". Looking on the web it says the phone is not setup for the correct contract (02 sim).
I called the tech support and they too diagnosed the issue. I was given a reference and "5-10 days for replacement" - No way i said, so he gave me the cus service no. to speed it up. They have told me they are now on back order and will be 5 days+ until in stock. Just looked and they are still on the e2save site with a "ends at 4pm" banner.
I take it i can use my 14 days distance selling act? Problem is, they are porting my old number over (estimate is Friday 4th) from orange. Will this be cancelled too?? I can see myself with 2 dead phones at this rate.....

When I was in a similar position with e2save, as my Motorola V3 didn't work, I went to my local CPW store and they happily exchanged it for another one, so I'd try your local CPW store to see if they've got any in stock. Hope this helps. E2Save were adament that they (CPW) wouldn't swap it as I bought it through E2Save (who are owned by CPW!), but the staff at CPW were very helpful and swapped it over with no problems!0 -
