    Very true, but i've seen on the debt forums courts siding with an informal creditor (family member turned near loan shark), family did gift the money but then 3 years later demanded it back and won in court without any paperwork at all.
    Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

    Just ring the network and get it blocked. State that it is lost and it will be blocked immediately. Then let him know that you have done this. I did this with an ex and got the phone back very, very quickly as the person they had sold it to returned it to them!!
