Help finding a cheap holiday suitcase!

Its worth pointing out though that in advising people to get 2 cases rather than just the one may cause them problems.
Many airlines are now restricting their luggage to just one per person in the hold. Fine when a couple are travelling, maybe not so when one person is travelling alone.
That said i'm one of those people who could take their holiday clothes in a carrier bag so it depends on the individual.
I can't follow your logic here, Mr Lahey.
If one person is travelling, surely it's better to have a smaller sized suitcase than a massive one that will hold 3 people's stuff.0 -

We travel with 4 children and so got large wheeled holdalls from argos. The holdalls are lighter than suitcases and so can take more. They are cheaper than suitcases too. We always have a couple of smaller suitcases to put anything that needs slightly more protection in.0
