Hi everyoe, thanks for your advice on this.
I have just made a phone call to the Insolvency helpline I will post the link below......can you confirm if this is an official place.....it has all the OR offices details and thing on it.....
I asked them the question about my tenancy and basically what they told me is this.....
If I can prove to my OR that I am not in debt on my rent and I forward a copy of my tenancy agreement to the OR and there is no clause on there regards to BR then the OR will most definately not contact the LL to inform him of BR. This is because he is not my creditor and I have proved that the rent I tild them is correct as per tenancy agreement.......this will also be backed up by bank statements that show my monthly standing order.
Thought this may be useful to other tennants in my position who do not want their landlords to know.
Your thoughts on this would be gratefully received.
Thank you for being there people xxxx0 -

Yes I have read your post, what I am saying is when an Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement comes to an end, the LL may decide not to renew it. And if the LL becomes aware that you are BR (not saying he will) and he is not happy about it, then there is the possibility he may do that. It is entirely up to you what you do. Any advice I offer comes with the best of intentions.:pB&SC No. 298

I understand what you are saying and its always best to air on the side of caution.
But I really cannot see why if the rent is up to date and the house is kept in immaculate condition the landlord would want to make a nice young family homeless for no reason. and i'm sure without good reason and no clause in the tenancy agreement he would not really have the right to do this unless he was selling the property or moving himself in????0
