I'm not saying I agree with it.
BUT conditions of carriage on Delta explicitly forbid throw away ticketing and they may take action against you to recover monies they think may be due.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Delta's "prohibition" effectively means nothing.
Does it?

I'd love to sit in court observing Delta, or any other airline, trying to convince a judge how a customer paying for something but not using it in any way causes the airline to be out of pocket.BUT conditions of carriage on Delta explicitly forbid throw away ticketing and they may take action against you to recover monies they think may be due.0 -
Unlikely to end up in court though, because of what is explicitly described in the Conditions of carriage.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Looking at www.kayak.co.uk, by the way, I can see a one-way flight advertised on opodo.co.uk for £586 on the 6th - American to LAX and then Air New Zealand (very nice) to LHR. Any help?
Thanks for all your thoughts - I went with this in the end. Last seat, so thanks very much ajb69! :j After a messy week in Vegas it is will be nice to come back on a decent airline too.0 -

How are you going to get from Las Vegas to LAX though?
EDIT: Sorry, I mis-read ajb69's post.0 -
