Virgin Media provides such bad service

They arranged to install XXL broadband at my place on the 30th March. Today I receive an email saying that they are sorry but it cannot be installed on that day but now the 8th April, and if I had a problem with this then I should phone them, which I did. I spoke to a Vicki, I tried to get her to connect me up to the person I made the arrangement with in the first place, this is apparently impossible. Then she says the guy who sent the email to me had tried to phone me but could not get hold of me. I checked my mobile number information that they have stored, it was incorrect, a number I have never had. I then made sure she had the right number. Then I asked to speak to someone higher up, she got very snotty with me so I reciprocated and then put the phone down on her. I then phoned again and spoke to this guy just to make sure that my details were correct, the new payment costs were correct and that the install would happen on the 8th April. The one thing he said that was of interest was that the reason that there was a date change, was that information on their side had been incorrectly typed in the first time and therefore I had lost that install slot.

Sorry this is a vent but I just feel angry, lets hope they come on the 8th.
