in Water bills
Hi, water people came today to install a water meter that i didnt want in the first place, had to have it because we moved house, been on free water for about 4 months now while we waited, anyway, water men came today and the started digging, anyway, they told us that we can never have a water meter installed becasue the pipe they need in on our property and they are not allowed to touch it 
so me and my family at our 5 bed house can stay unmetered, it would of cost more if we were on meterted so the water people said anyway, they were very nice :T

I'm waiting for them to install mine, had the 7 day notice 3 weeks ago.
Interesting that they can't touch your pipe, I would have thought they have the power to do anything from the tone of their intial letter.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
