Does anyone know when this is going to be released in the UK?

World wide release sometime May/June/July.

Apple don't give a lot of info (or any) until the official announcement, and there no date even for that yet.

Well seeing as it hasn't even been announced yet, at this point its pure sceptisism to say there will even be one!

Having said that, they'd be crazy not to after the success of the iPhone and seeing as other smartphones are catching up I would say Apple will annouce a new phone before the summer is out. However, there could be quite a wait between Apple announcing it and it hitting the UK, not to mention the fact that it will no doubt be a sell out so getting one would be very hard!

Why?

People know that newer phones are released all the time, regardless of who makes them.

I know people who are still perfectly happy with their original iPhone.

Yeah thats true I suppose. Even after the 4GS theres probably gonna be another model after that. And after that too.
