I've had 2 heel spurs in the past, both had cortisone injections. Now, that bloody hurt _pale_ but they did eventually both heal. I'm also flat footed as well.
Just on lunch/head change. Going back to catch up....

Really strange aren't they BB?
Kept thinking I had bruised the bottom of my feet!
Have to get some tape to tape them up and apparently step stretches for the calves helps too, and icing them...not with butter cream or anything like that...lol
My Mom has them as well. SheeshEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Good luck with the thesis dealwithdebtdot - my OU course starts in May and I can't wait!
Thanks, I think I have written about 600 words this morning...its difficult to say because I deleted a whole paragraph! Another 500 today and i'll be happy. :jDot, Morrisons and Tesco are both doing the Pizza Express pizza's for £2.
Hmm, see that is a bit of a pull...but I also have the pull of the new Waitrose having opened today, and its closer than Tesco, and its a nicer drive and well, its just nicer. (I forgot to mention that Morrissons is a 5min walk...but I really do need to get out of the house for more than 15 minutes!)
Sun has come back out and I have put my alfalfa sprouts outside to give them a bit of a boost...along with more washing. Shame I am stuck indoors surronded in paper!
Did someone mention biscuits? I may have to go to Waitrose to but some!
Bad Dot, bad Dot!

Sorry I havent read back just yet but I just wanted to get this off my chest........
I have just been to see my beautiful Grandad, who I speak of regularly and I am heartbroken.
In the last few weeks we have noticed a slurring of his speach and confusions/ forgetfulness which has been checked out and has been deemed as normal wear and tear of the brain (he has had all the tests for anything nasty too) but it doesnt comfort me:(
He has been my main Father figure through me life, always dependable, a beautiful person who leads such a simple life.
He lost his wife, my Grandmother when she was only in her late 40s and has neither looked for or found love again, always content with his own company until they are together again.
But now he is a shadow of his former self, he is so confused and I can no longer hold a conversation with him, this has happened so quickly.
I am utterly heartbroken and am sat here weeping for him and for myself.....
Sorry if I have brought the thread down:(But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
