Luc - could it be as simple as you'd mentioned OH being busy so someone knew and said "oh, shame we can't get Luc to come..." so they didn't invite you?

Claire - good luck with the bathroom council assessment.

    Beanie - how rubbish.

Unlikely as I hadn't seen them since he told me...

Tomorrow I'll be angry about it but right now I'm too upset

I must give off a vibe or something. This happens to me all the time when I think I've made friends with a group of girls:(

But not with us though. :grouphug:

I don't know why this happens, I really don't. So many of us have described similar experiences, and yet without exception, those of you I have been lucky enough to meet have been warm, kind, funny, fantastic individuals who it is a privilege to be friends with.

I haven't met you yet, but I have absolutely no doubt you would fall into that category too.

For any group of women to do that to another woman is bad enough. But for a group of women to do it who have shared a difficult time, and know EXACTLY how this will make you feel, beggars belief really.

It says nothing about you and everything about them that they would be so thoughtless (hopefully)/cruel (possibly).

It can really only come down to jealousy. You have such a great life. You are recovering from the PND, you have a fantastic family, and a great career (which has been on hold only briefly). You are also extremely attractive and likeable. Some women do find that threatening, and would rather try to destroy it than be inspired by it. Shame on them though.

Maybe we shouldn't meet so the bubble doesn't burst...

I'm going to bed. Don't want Hubbles to come home to me crying by myself

Luc - you are one of the kindest, sweetest most honest people I know. And that is all from through here, so don't think you doesn't shine through every single time. You care about others and not only yourself, and not everyone can do that
