How to find the best mobile phone deal?

hi,

I am just finishing a contract with three and am not sure whether to continue with them, go onto another contract elsewhere or go on PAYG.

Is there somewhere to search for the best deals?

I have a Three skypephone - will I have to have it unlocked if I go on to PAYG with another provider? What about if I go on Three PAYG? Would it easier to just buy a cheap handset instead?

Thanks

Jen

This article has plenty of useful information to help you start your search. There is also a 3 retentions thread in this forum which may help you with bargaining with 3 for a better deal to stay with them (if you want to).

PAYG on 3 is pretty good value for money, if you don't make a lot of calls it's probably better to stick with that and pick up a cheap phone.
