How are Barclays performing this year?

Well it seems unlikely that the A+L / Santander Flexible ISA's will be available for my 2010 allowance (used 2009 allowance last April)
Plan B, Barclays. Had a nightmare with these in 2008, heard they had improved the application process in 2009. Any experiences of the 2010 application process?
What was the final rate on last years Tax Haven ISAs. Did they plummet dramatically after the headline grabbing April rate?

I have a Barclays Isa Tax haven and the rate is pathetic as it dropped to 0.83% a year and that equates to around 0.06% a month
so I will be looking for a better provider for the 10-11 tyax year

The problem is that there isn't aren't many good flexible ISA's this year. I'm in the process of transferring all my old money from First Direct to the post office. My farts hospitalize small children

I applied online this year (and last) - I amalready a current account holder. It was completely hassle free and I received my documentation within days.0

Why does the Flexible ISA not look like being available in the new tax year? I haven't heard anything about it being removed.I have a Barclays Isa Tax haven and the rate is pathetic as it dropped to 0.83% a year and that equates to around 0.06% a month

You do realise that you can transfer it elsewhere? Read here for your options.0 -

Maybe not, the account just seems like an attempt to mop up end of year stragglers.
It just seems too good in comparison to anything out there at the moment, and I would expect with such a good offer they would control their exposure. Closing the account to new applications before the new tax year would not be an unexpected control measure.
It may be here in April from what I've just read on another thread. Just weighing up options so I'm prepared.
I've started the transfer of all my old money to the Post office into a fixed account. I like to leave the gate open each year by having new money in a flexible account. The following year I would merge the two into another one year fix, and start another flexi elsewhere. This means I have two ISA's running in parallel each year.My farts hospitalize small children
