I used this service a couple of years ago back in July and I was pleased how quick it came back especially the time of year. The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0 -
It's nice to hear/read praise for a job done well :T - people are always quick to criticise, not usually as quick to praise.Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0

Very encouraging everyone. Applied for my new passport this pm at the PO. I have mislaid the old one in the house somewhere. I paid £85 for the fee and check and send. I was most keen that they checked I had done everything correctly. Will report when it comes back.member # 12 of Skaters Club

Why do people pay the PO to send their application, when it is cheaper and takes the same time to do it yourself?
Because you would be very surprised at how many people make mistakes on their application form, particularly mistakes that result in an automatic rejection.
You also get Special Delivery included in the price, and with Check and Send it's supposed to be quicker, although that may not make much of a difference when IPS is particularly quiet.0 -
Im surprised at this. I've been waiting ages on mine after doing the check and send. I tried to track online but I got a message back saying they could not track this passport. Could it be lost if its sent special delivery.0

What is 'ages'? Have you rang up, rather than checking online?Gone ... or have I?0 -
No I haven't phoned up you're right I'll do this on Tuesday. It didnt strike me as odd until I saw that people had been receiving them in 8 days etc.0
