pyramid scams/spamming etc

is there something in rules on mse which says once a posting has been reported people should stop posting underneath to stop it being bumped up to top of forum? if not there should be (for obvious reasons)

    i agree as much as we hate spam the more we comment the more publicity its getting
    i say new rule do not post on spam:T

    I agree - but with one change...

    Post a reply to spam only if you've actually reported it as spam. Everyone else sees the second post and prompty ignores the thread. This should ensure that only one reply is actually made to idiotic pyramid scheme threads and the like!!
