Tiscali to TalkTalk - It's not easy

I recently transferred my broadband from Tiscali to TalkTalk and my phone from BT to TalkTalk. All seemed well and I was up and running in a few weeks.
However, Tiscali are now insisting that I am due them a £30 connection fee and £7 for telephone calls. Luckily I had cancelled my Tiscali direct debit so they did not manage to take the money. Tiscali never had my phone line so this is very strange.
I have written to Tiscali three times and enclosed my first TalkTalk bill but the only reply I got was a REMINDER for £60.88. TalkTalk will not assist in this matter as they say they are still separate companies. Strange that all letters are headed TalkTalk with no mention of Tiscali. The facility to view my Tiscali bill online seems to have disappeared since joining TalkTalk.
I submit this thread so that others will be aware of this problem. If I get no reply this week I intend to complain via ISPA.
Any comments or help most welcome.

This is where the problem lies. You may be mistaken who is asking for a connection fee, that may be talktalk not tiscali. Who knows but talktalk. Best bet is to get to high level complaints within talktalk. They WILL solve this problem. I was "slammed" (contract renewed without my consent) by talktalk on an 18 month contract and they sorted it in a day.0 -
I have posted on the TalkTalk forum and they just refer me to Tiscali for a resolution saying they are still separate companies. Tiscali are ignoring my letters and since joining TalkTalk I can no longer view my bill online.
My first TalkTalk bill charges and then refunds the connection fee and that is o.k.
The only way you can tell if a letter is from Tiscali or TalkTalk is by the account number. Life gets very confusing.0
