Has anybody else ever received Texts to their mobile that they know they have definately not asked for and been charged a fortune for them?
Since Christmas I have received 9 texts @ £1.50 each. Vodafone said that there's nothing they can do and I should still pay Vodafone for these messages. They supplied me with details of the firm that sent them, who I've contacted three times and have never had a reply.
I sugessted to Vodafone that I would withold the amount on my bill that relates to these messages, as it seems to work that I pay Vodafone and then Vodafone pay this company. Could they not indicate that I'm in dispute?
It seems to me that Vodafone and this company have a contract to work with each other yet when one of their customers has a dispute with one of Vodafones partners, they do not want anything to do with it.
Has anyone else had a similar problem and if so, did you get the money back? If so, how?
Any information would be helpfull.

Text the word "STOP" to all these messages. If this doesn't work and you are still getting unsolicited premium rate text messages go to <A href="http://www.grumbletext.co.uk/" target=_blank>GRUMBLETEXT and it should point you in the right direction of what steps you can take to get rid of these.
Apparently a new report on the news this morning says that the regulatory body is now going to clamp down a lot harder on these unsolicited messages as there has been so many complaints about them.0 -
