virgin downgrade

Hi all, new to this forum as a poster but have been reading posts for a while and have a question regarding Virgin Media.

Currently, I am on a bundle which consists of TV and Broadband. However, we currently rent and the landlord has put the house on the market to sell. We are ok staying in the house until the house is sold and as it stands as my 12 month contract with Virgin has already expired, so I will be able to terminate my deal when I need to leave without incurring termination fees.

However, my question relates to saving money and if I want to downgrade my bundle to receive broadband only, will Virgin commit me to another 12 month contract or will they let me terminate when the house sells without having to pay out?
