If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

not a problem as such, but i purchased a wireless printer from them yesterday, at till the woman asked if i wanted to by a cable that you need to connect it to the computer, then she realised it was wireless and stopped in there tracks(i reralise i will probably need the cable to set it up, but could use the one from my old printer), anyway got it home opened box, what was first thing i saw, u guessed it the cable, they would try to sell sand to the arabs if they could
Oh its so hilarious how misinformed they are... wait actually.

Most wired printers don't include the cable in the box so retailers can sell their own to make money (printers are usually sold sub-cost to get money back on the ink).

Most wireless printers DO include the USB cable as you occasionally need to set it up, and I doubt the retailer will be able to convince people to buy a USB cable for a wireless printer.

Would you rather she didn't tell customers that they'd need a USB lead? Again that would be "poor customer service"...

But of course it's much better to look snide on the internet, because you know oh so much more than her.
