Budget 2010: Benefit help for over 60s

proper chilly up in Sutherland, still far nicer than tropical south west england where im in exile now i tell ya.

anyway, id like to think im not alone with my thinking on Winter Fuel Payments - the problem with them is pretty much anyone over 60 & resident in the UK gets them, so the queen, sir alan sugar, anyone with far too much money to need it.

perhaps if they werent paid to everyone and his corgie, those that do need them could benefit from a little extra when its needed most.


....and then theres child benefit.....
