I have finaly opened a Bank Account

And those that know, and read between the lines will know what that means
:(

Anyway, how quick are the co-op at getting the stuff out these days, debit card etc.
Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all …………. :(

    Hi bat

Internet banking is slow, transactions can take a few days to show online so your available balance is not always a true record.

You can get an up to date balance though by ringing their telephone banking or using a cash point.

Sorry Bat just re read your post.

We opened our account on a Monday in branch and had the debit cards etc about 10 days later. But they did say if we needed to pay money in or take out we could do that in branch before our cards arrived.

Pushing it I think...Coop takes a few days to get cards out & fee increases on the 6th April..unless you can take a chance & manage without an account for a few days?
