in Water bills
Hi there,
My water bill seems to be creeping up and is now at £49 per month direct debit with Severn Trent. This is for a 3 bed house, washing machine on 5 times a week, dishwasher 5 times a week and a fishtank which consumes about 30L a week.
Is it me or does it look like we are paying too much? Could we have a faulty meter?
Thanks,
Jonathan.

It all depends on how much water you are using, giving the direct debt amount really does not help as it does not tell us what the arrears are ( if there are any) when you are due a bill etc
However I should think you are using quite a bit of water though as there is still showers / baths, car washing and gardening, toilet flushes to add to your list.
One way to check that the meter is ok is to turn the stop tap off and see if the meter moves.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin, and roam the world at will.

Same question as your other post. What is your actual monthly consumption from the meter readings?No free lunch, and no free laptop0
