soup sounds good, where do i start?

still on a learning curve here

    What veg have you got?

I would fry some onions, add whatever other veg and soften it a bit, put in meat and stock, bring to boil then simmer for a little while till everything is cooked. Maybe add some herbs if you've got them.

Barley goes well with lamb in soup but I wouldn't rush out and buy some if you've got other stuff there to use.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

i didn't want to buy them but nathan insisted he wanted them at the farmers market, suppose they are ok they only cost 75p but hard to do something with lol, and as you all know my cooking skills arn't up to much

This is where a slow cooker is so good, you can get flavour out of a flippin rock with those things!
the lamb would literally fall off the bone in a slow cooker and make an excellent broth.
