18 or 24 month contract?
trying to decide which to go for. Looking at the HTC Desire and it'll cost about £480 overall on both an 18 month or 24 month contract.
I'd prefer the 18 month contract but the prospect of 6 months "free" is making it pretty difficult.
who likes what kind of contract?

Think htc only give you twelve months warranty so there is one consideration.24 month contracts are more popular now as you tend to get more minutes and texts for less. But obviously six months longer with the phone. Havin said that i gave my last upgrade to my partner so in effect i am in a three year contract but i love my phone still.0

do you look forward to your upgrades?
can you wait 2 years for your next phone?
are you accident prone?
do you lose stuff?
can you afford to pay a bit more to upgrade early?
The market is slowly moving to 24 months.... but if you can afford 18 months then do it. There is no right answer, both are sensible options.0 -
I can afford the 18 month contract fine and I am not too bad with phones, not a broken one yet.
however, I am pretty picky. My upgrade was due last November and it has taken until now for me to find something I like.0
