Thanks for your reply and I am not offended. Some people just can't wait to patronise and condescend. I just wish that they could answer the question put to the board instead of moralising. Again I did not give enough information for people to decide if i can afford a particular car or not. If you don't have anything constructive to say then dont't say it.
Again thanks for all the constructive replies. They have been of great help.

I'm afraid that I feel you are just a Troll looking for an argument, and no point did I give any indication that I trivialised safe driving.
I should point out that as a recently retired highways engineer and Road Safety Auditor I have quite a good concept of how driving standards and perspectives have a huge impact on road safety, I also have a full motorcycle licence so know what it's like to be a more vulnerable road user.
However if you wish to keep trying to be clever and misrepresent what I post, please carry on I know it makes you happy :rotfl:
Best wishes
Here's my 2p - Inactive is far from being a troll. I have read many of his posts on here and he is well informed and usually good fun.

I was not making any moral judgement about what you were doing, just offering my 2 pence after reading your question, your signature and some of your other posts, just because you dont like what I say doesn't take away my right to say it. I didn't say you shouldn't do it, I just asked if you felt you really needed to do it. Thats the joys of living in a free country.
I am not interested in your opinions on the state of my finances, I am interested in answers to the questions I asked. If you don't have an answer to my questions then butt out. Go and make yourself feel self important on someone Else's post.Grocery Challenge 2018

Without trying to sound mean, Your question related directly to financial matters, Therefore people are going to enquire about YOUR FINANCES in order to give you the best advice that they can, And people will also make assumptions on the info that you show in your sig, whether it is accurate and in date or not.
On a side note I wouldn't bother buying a brand new car ever. That's me though, I'm just tight.War does not decide who is right, It decides who is left.0 -

Perhaps, as you allude in your first post, your finances are in such poor condition because you are thick?0 -
Fair enough. I'm off. I was only trying to be helpful though but if you think thats me trying to make myself feel important you're well far off the mark and I regret wasting my time reading your thread. Enjoy your debt:rotfl:0
