    Very clear description of the rules from jamesd (can we get the wording on the main site as accurate please).

    Its funny how they have tried to simplify ISAs but everyone still gets confused by all the rules. In my opinion, ISAs should.

    • Let you pay into as many providers as you like, provided your annual allowance isn't exceeded.
    • Let you pay back withdrawn money.

    Then all the transfer problems would dissappear as people could just withdraw and pay into another accouny. I'm dreaming, I know ...
