am trying to sort through my finances and my head is swimming with figures, so much so i cant see the wood for the trees, so to speak. its blaringly obvious that i am paying way too much for sky, phone and broadband £99 a month. i am guilty of having sky movies and sky+ as well as additional set so obviously that all adds up but it must be cheaper with virgin or someone???? but that is the problem when you try adding all the various packages and phone and on and on i am losing track of whether or not i can get it all cheaper elsewhere. is there someone who stands head and shoulders above the rest in value for money??????

TV is free on Freesat and Freeview-why pay anything for it at all?
2 months Sky subs saved will buy you a PVR to do the job of Sky+.
Broadband options depend on your exchange, go to https://www.samknows.com and look for your LLU options, these will be the cheapest deals. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Your probably not going to save much by switching provider you need to review you needs.
But something sounds amiss £99 pounds let break this down as worst case
Broadband connect £17
Line rental £11
Any time talk package £5
All 6 packs £23
Movies £16
HD £10
Multiroom £10
Which is £92 ( i have made some assumptions)
First do a channel audit ask yourself:
Do I need all these packs
Could I cope with just half the movie pack
Do i need a second box for sky i could use it as a free sat reviver
Phone line
Do i have any time if so (do i need it)
Am i phoning mobiles
Could i get away with just phoning land line in the evening and weekend
Broadband
Am i on a connect package IF SO MOVE
If not do i need the top speed if i only do light surfing
To be fair I think a life style change is in order0 -
I would say that in regards to movies your are better off either with a Lovefilm (Can get 90 day trials) account or picking up a few dvd's a month and just watching that. Dvd's are silly money now with some being as little as £2.99 each.
IMO Sky Movies Premieres are films I have watched ages and ages ago.
I found when i cancelled I didn't miss it after a while an dif you have a few dvd's in reserve then it's not aproblem. You watch what you want to and not what Sky tell you.0 -
Lovefilm is great, swap the film packages to this for 6 months and see how you feel.
Is the additional set used at the same time as the first, if not bin the subscription and feed the first around the house.
Thats a lot of money for TV, if you are house bound I can understand, but otherwise IMHO dump some of it.0
